That's what we've been doing. It feels like the winter blahs of home renovation. That's not to say there hasn't been progress - there certainly has.

The master bedroom drywall work is finished, except for a couple of spots that need light touch-ups.

The chimney has been scraped clean of plaster and is ready for a scrubbing with water.

 

 Yet another doorway is free of 15 layers of dirty white paint.

And the mudding of the hallway has been started.

 

Next week's plans? Mudding and sanding and stripping paint. Maybe we'll get crazy and throw in some chimney brick cleaning.
